개요 및 목적

‘생명·평화·공존 세계작가네트워크’는 민주주의와 평화에 대한 문학적 담론을 형성하고, 전 세계 문학인들의 문학적 연결과 교류를 위해
<DMZ세계문학페스타 2026>을 2026년 3월 27일 (금)부터 3월 29일(일)까지
분단의 현장인 DMZ 내 캠프그리브스에서 개최하고자 합니다.
이번 행사는 전지구적 전쟁과 분쟁에 대한 세계 작가들의 문학적 대응 방안을 논의하는 자리가 될 것입니다.
무엇보다 세계 유일의 분단 휴전 지역인 DMZ에서 본 행사를 개최함으로써,
세계인의 관심 속에서 전쟁 · 분쟁 · 혐오 · 차별에 저항하는 세계 작가들의 심도 깊은 대화와 교류의 장을 통해
민주주의와 평화에 대한 세계 문학인들의
언어가 공유될 것입니다.
그리하여 분단체제 극복과
한반도 긴장 완화를 위한 한국문학과 세계문학이 함께하는,
생명 · 평화 · 공존 지향의 문학적 실천의 길을 걷고자 합니다.
The Global Network of Writers for Life, Peace and Coexistence aims to foster a literary discourse on democracy and peace and interconnect with writers worldwide.
To this, the DMZ World Literature Festa 2026 will be held from March 27 to March 29 2026, at Camp Greaves located in the DMZ, a symbolic site of division. This event will provide a place for writers from around the world to discuss literary responses to global wars and conflicts.
By hosting the Festa in the DMZ, the world’s only divided armistice zone, we expect that the vivid voices of democracy and peace from writers who resist war, conflict, hatred, and discrimination will be shared through dialogue and exchange among international writers.
Finally, Korean and world literature will chart a shared path toward life, peace, and coexistence, seeking to overcome division and to relieve tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
